Service Description

Performing Arts at Movement Zone! Mondays 4pm-4:45pm (Studio 2) Movement has always been a vital part of our teacher Letty's character development, in her acting roles, she has come from a foundation of dance training. So be ready to get moving! Students will explore ways to create characters for the stage, combining dance and drama in an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters creativity. Whether your child has prior experience in drama or is entirely new to performing, these classes are perfect for every level of performer—and most importantly, they are FUN! These classes are a great introduction to the art of Theatre and storytelling. Through games and exercises, students engage in collaborative play and develop ensemble-building skills, essential elements of storytelling and improvisation. They will also gain acting and performance skills by creating and sharing short plays based on children's literature or by inventing their characters. To act is to play, and students learn best in an atmosphere of relaxed positive reinforcement.
