Keep Kids Active - Kids Voucher Program

Helping eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation!

Movement Zone are happy to be participating in the Keeps Kids Active program.

Eligible children may receive up to $200 to go towards their class fees.

Applications are closed however the next round of vouchers will be opening up in February 2026.

Here’s how it works:
1. Families pay the fees upfront.
2. When Round 10 opens in February 2026, you can apply for reimbursement of up to $200 through the voucher portal.
3. A minimum spending of $50 is required.

Presented by Ausdance VIC and Movement Zone, in partnership with the Castlemaine State Festival, the Regional Dance Summit connects dancers, professionals and educators with leading artists from across Victoria.

Experience a full day of dance, connection and creativity at the Regional Dance Summit, as part of the Castlemaine State Festival!

Bringing Victoria’s regional dance community together to move, learn and celebrate, the Summit welcomes dancers of all ages and stages. Whether you’re a young dancer dreaming big, an adult stepping into (or back into) dance, or a teacher or studio owner looking for fresh ideas – there’s a tailored program for you.

Held at Movement Zone Studios in Castlemaine, the Summit offers a full day of workshops, classes and conversations designed to inspire movement, learning and connection across the regional dance community.

                          Program Highlights
  • Youth Dance Workshops – contemporary, commercial and performance-focused sessions for ages 12–20.

  • Adult Dance Workshops – fun and welcoming contemporary, hip hop/funk, and movie musical-inspired classes for beginners and beyond.

  • Professional Development Stream – workshops and discussions for teachers, studio owners and educators, exploring creative practice, up skilling, and community connection.

  • Accredited & Non-Accredited Training Info Session – discover training and qualification pathways for educators and students.

  • Youth Spark Lab & Dance Conversations – open forums to share experiences, challenges and bold ideas for the future of regional dance.

MZ CREW took Sydney by storm at Hollywood Bound Competition, Saturday 16th August 2025, winning High Gold with a score of 286.9 out of 300.

1st in Senior Hip-Hop (small groups).

MZ CREW would like to thank everyone who donated and supported them to get to the Sydney Hollywood Bound Dance competition.

There were so many incredible and talented dancers and performers who entered so it was a privilege to be part of such an amazing event.​

Now we are off to Nationals at The Gold Coast!
