JUNIOR CONTEMPORARY (Ages 8-12)
Contemporary Fusion is influenced by classical ballet, jazz & hip-hop
Service Description
Tuesdays 5-6pm (Studio 2) Contemporary Fusion is influenced by classical ballet, jazz, lyrical dance, acrobatics and hip-hop. Through a variety of combinations and freestyling, dancers will learn to layer dynamics and musicality whilst improving performance quality and stamina, plus developing dance ability, flexibility, strength and musicality. Contemporary dance is interpretive in its choreography and often focuses on emotions and storytelling, structured or unconventional and can be performed barefoot, with shoes, and with or without music. Contemporary Fusion offers a freedom of movement that allows dancers with less training or technique to still enjoy dance without the need for perfect turnout or perfect feet. $245 inclusive of GST ANNUAL FEE: $60 pp or $80 + GST per family will be charged beginning of each year or upon enrolment. This will cover insurance, music licences, equipment, administration costs etc. *This is not refundable.
