Musical Theatre at Movement Zone!

 Musical theatre classes will boost confidence and performing skills, all whilst exploring the world of performing arts!

This 12 week course over term 3 & 4, taught by professional artist Stephanie Harrison aka Lady Whisper, is a great introduction to all things singing, dancing and acting. A beginner - Intermedate musical class with room to grow and learn and develop new skills in performing arts. 

This will be our 3rd & 4th instalment, and we will be working towards a big concert later in the year!

Students will explore ways to create characters for the stage, combining singing and dancing, in an inclusive and supportive environment. It doesn't matter whether your child has had experience in music theatre or is brand new to performing, these classes are ideal for every level of performer, most of all they are FUN!

All of these elements will be brought together at the final workshop to create a final piece as part of the Movement Zone concert at The Phee Broadway Theatre in Novemeber.

DATES:  

Term 3: Saturday August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th + September 2nd and 9th

Term 4: October 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, November: 4th, Dress rehearsal November 10th.

Final week/concert 11th and 12th of November.

• Junior: 9:15 to 10:15am - ages 5 to 7
• Inters: 10:30 to 12pm - ages 8 to 12
• Teens: 12:15-1:45pm ages 12+

UNIFORM: All students must wear leggings/bike pants or trackpants, singlet or t-shirt, hair tied back, socks or jazz shoes. Each student is required to bring a water bottle labelled with their name.
