Holiday Master Classes (JUNIOR-ADULT)

JUNIOR - ADULTS CLASSES AVAILABLE.

These specialised master classes are taught by professional dancer Lady Whisper (Stephanie Harrison).

Thursday 20th April 2023 - Movement Zone Studio, Castlemaine

Styles covered: HipHop, Funk, Jazz & Contemporary (Fusion with LW)

2:45pm-4:15pm: Beginner Fusion 8-15 years (Lady Whisper)

5:30-7pm: Adults Open Intermediate Fusion (Lady Whisper)

At Movement Zone we believe that bringing in outside choreographers and instructors is integral to a students ability to expand students knowledge for a particular style of dance.

Master classes are an important part of formal dance training. Even when quality instruction is part of the regular curriculum, being part of a class taught by a master instructor can give students fresh insight into their technique. Master classes give dancers the opportunity to spend a period of time focusing on improving their knowledge and technique of a certain style of dance and movement.

A bit about Lady Whisper (Steph Harrison):

Steph is an award-winning performing artist, dancer, songwriter and creative director, who is renowned for her powerhouse vocals, impressive choreography and creative ability. From Polyglot Theatre to One Night in Footscray , she prioritises a held, honest and uplifting space through performance and education. Her goals within her practice are to empower individuals via dance and music, cultivate confidence, while developing dancers own unique expression. Steph is also a long time member and teacher of Movement Zone. Steph in action
