About the event

We are so excited to offer this BRAND NEW CLASS at Movement Zone!! To celebrate, we are offering 3 FREE trial classes. We have limited places, so we do our best to get you in to as many as we can. (AGES 9-14 years)

Contemporary Fusion is influenced by classical ballet, jazz, lyrical dance, acrobatics and hip-hop. Through a variety of combinations and freestyling, dancers will learn to layer dynamics and musicality whilst improving performance quality and stamina, plus developing dance ability, flexibility and strength.

Contemporary Fusion offers a freedom of movement that allows dancers with less training or technique to still enjoy dance without the need for perfect turnout or nice feet.

Contemporary dance is interpretive in its choreography and often focuses on emotions and storytelling, structured or unconventional and can be performed barefoot, with shoes, and with or without music.

This exciting new class is taught by instructor…

Statement Of Inclusivity

At Movement Zone we recognise that we have a diverse group of instructors, parents, students and hirers. We embrace and value the diversity of our community and it is our policy to be inclusive and mindful of this diversity in our studio, programs and interactions with others.

We embrace all people regardless of their age, culture, disabilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. We continually challenge ourselves, and others, in an environment of mutual concern and respect for the free expression of all individuals

We would like to acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of this land on which we work, dance and play.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
